CVARR, originally the Central Virginia Opioid Epidemic Coalition, was interested in polishing their branding. They wanted the organization’s name to speak to recovery, not just opioid abuse. They also wanted to focus on compiling recovery resources in one place for the community to easily access. mpiTOO recommended changing the organization’s name to something that would speak to the organization’s role as an “umbrella” for all the different types of resources. mpiTOO also recommended something easier to read and remember. mpiTOO suggested Central Virginia Addiction and Recovery Resources, or CVARR.
CVARR was happy with the name recommendation, and wanted to take it further with a logo, tagline, and website. mpiTOO created their logo, which was inspired by unity and coming together. mpiTOO developed the tagline “where hope meets possibility.” In addition, mpiTOO created and designed CVARR’s full website, containing educational information on substance use and overdose care. This website also has an online resource directory, which allows the user to search for local recovery resources by category and services offered.
